Katrina's Musings (Gospel Meditations/Missions-Day 22)

There is no other name ... by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

The greatest controversy in our world today isn't political or economic. It's not about Bible translations or worship style. All of those issues have their place--and adequate share of controversy--but the great controversy in the world is that 'there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved' (Acts 4:12). There are people in the world on this day who will be thrown out of their homes or face prison or even death because they believe this. And closer to home, just try telling someone on the street or at the mall that Jesus is the only way of salvation. It will quickly be evident that the controversy isn't just on the other side of the world.

The Great Controversy--The Name-that-is-above-every-name Controversy--is not about arguing . It's about speaking of the Savior clearly, humbly, and boldly, and doing so in a way that reminds people of Jesus.

Let the Gospel embolden you to proclaim the controversial, soul-saving truth.
